I have been at plenty of shows in my lifetime and have never seen an artist literally stop the show and ask the crowd to re-evaluate themselves (Capleton). I also noticed the same comments from Spear and DamianMarley... I b Ibeleive that we as true fans of reggae roots and culture reggae music need to support the artists when they perform,. or we will me cry for them when they no longer desire to come back and perform, check yourself S. One should also note that that enabling the mind to achieve a state of stillness may also facilitate the speed and efficency of neural processing. As the brother pointed out, it is difficult to achioeve this state in the western world . We are under constatn duress from time tables, schedules, plans, goals and of course at the mercy of our own deleterious thoughts and memories. Once can see how meditation does not fit well with most belief systems... Interesting post. Could you comment on the change in what was earlky Rastafri beliefs to the more contemporary views. I find that Rastafri has evolved to become more inclusive of humanity as a whole and less of a supremacy sentiment. Do you feel this has contributed to the global acceptance of these beliefs.
